  • All with factory equipped vacuum assist power brake.
     
  • All engines with power steering pump in stock locations and flare style fittings on ps
    pump and steering gearbox. If unsure as to fitting style, it is recommended that the lines
    be disconnected and identified to insure correct fittings / lineset is supplied.
     
  • Features an adjustable brake pedal rod.

  • Some later models equipped with a GM "quickfill" style master cylinder have a larger
    rear piston which will not fit the assist unit. A replacement master cylinder of the

  • 1985 - 1987 Factory equipped with Delco Powermaster assist power brake and serpentine belt driven, remote reservoir style ps pump.
     
  • SFI Turbo V6 engines with power steering pump in stock locations and O-ring style fittings on ps pump and steering gearbox. 
     
  • Will require the installation of a conventional type GM master cylinder - purchased separately.  Please contact us for further details.

1979 - 1985 Early Design GM A/G body Hydraulic Brake Assist System
 

  • 1979 - 1985 Factory equipped with earlier design Bendix Hydroboost (1st design without external accumulator). This system upgrades the vehicle to the highly improved external accumulator design and also includes a genuine Aeroquip braided stainless replacement pressure lineset.  Revised mounting also helps to improve appearance and engine to assist unit clearances. 
     
  • Features an adjustable brake pedal rod
